CEE-012 Engineering Probability & Statistics

Course Description:

Basic engineering statistics with a civil & environmental engineering focus. Topics to include: random variables and histograms; central tendency, dispersion and skew; probability density functions and cumulative distribution functions, basic probability concepts and selected probability models, return period analysis, linear regression and least squares, correlation analysis, propagation of errors. Prerequisite: MATH 021.
